Linda Button is winner of The Annie Dillard Prize for nonfiction and a Pushcart Prize nominee. Button’s essays have appeared in The New York Times, Longreads, HuffPost, The Rumpus, Hippocampus, Cognoscenti as well as several anthologies. Recently her work was named finalist in The Rumpus Prize and The Iowa Review Award. She holds an advanced blackbelt in Taekwondo.

Button has appeared on PBS in Stories from the Stage, her video has been watched over one million times on Facebook. She is a graduate of Grub Street’s Essay and Memoir Incubators, and a resident of Vermont Studio Arts, among others.
